Christopher Reitan of Norway, who secured his first PGA Tour victory at the signature event “Trueist Championship,” jumped from 48th to a career-best 25th place.
Hideki Matsuyama, who finished 71st in the tournament, slipped one spot to No. 17. Among other Japanese players, Ryo Hisatane is 59th, Keita Nakajima 133rd, Takumi Kintetsu 139th, Kazuki Higa 152nd, Kazuma Kaneko 192nd, and Kensei Hirata 235th.
Brandt Snedeker of the United States, who won the “OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic” – a PGA Tour alternate event – for his first victory in eight years, surged 142 spots to No. 131.
Lucas Herbert of Australia, winner of the LIV Golf Virginia event, moved from 173rd to 89th.
South Africa’s Yurav Premlal, who achieved a dominant 14-shot victory at the DP World Tour’s “Estrella Dam Catalonia Championship,” climbed from 598th to 250th in the rankings.
