With extensive managerial experience, McClaren’s most recent position in English football was as assistant to Erik ten Hag at Manchester United. Despite Rotherham’s impending relegation to League Two—their second drop in three seasons—McClaren is intrigued by the chance to work for a club with ambitious aspirations. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, and McClaren retains strong enthusiasm for returning to the game.
No agreement has been finalized yet, but McClaren is seriously considering taking on the challenge.
