Former CSKA player Alexander Grishin stated on the air of Match TV that Zenit will become the champion of the Russian Premier League (RPL), while Spartak will finish third.
After 29 rounds, Zenit leads the standings with 65 points, followed by Krasnodar (63), Lokomotiv (53), and Spartak (51).
“Zenit will be champion with 99 percent certainty. The bronze will go to Spartak. Lokomotiv faces CSKA in the final round — anything can happen there. Spartak should beat Dynamo Makhachkala away,” Grishin said on the program “All on Match!” on Match TV.
In the final round of the RPL, Krasnodar will host Orenburg on May 17, Zenit will visit Rostov, Spartak will travel to Kaspiysk to face Dynamo, and Lokomotiv will meet CSKA away.
