The press service of Salavat Yulaev Ufa has announced a one-year contract extension with forward Danil Alalykin. The new deal keeps the club’s homegrown talent in Ufa for another season.
“Danil Alalykin has signed a new contract with Salavat Yulaev. Alalykin is a product of the Salavat Yulaev youth system. In the past season, the forward played 44 games in the regular championship, recording 20 points (6 goals + 14 assists). He also added three points (2 goals + 1 assist) in seven playoff games. The agreement is for one year,” the club’s press service stated in a Telegram post.
Salavat Yulaev reached the Gagarin Cup quarterfinals this season, where they were eliminated by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, who later became the tournament’s finalist. The extension reflects the team’s confidence in Alalykin’s contributions as a versatile offensive player. With his strong work ethic and offensive upside, the 23-year-old is expected to play a key role in the upcoming campaign.
